Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Sarabha Enterprises LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and professional Long Haul Truck Driver to operate our tractor-trailer units. The successful candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a clean driving record. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) regularly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive tractor-trailer units to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintain the vehicle's condition.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) regularly.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work overtime, travel for extended periods, and be willing to travel overnight. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions.
