Job Title: General Construction Supervisor

Carcum Renovators is seeking a skilled General Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and Manage Costs: Accurately estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring that budgets are met and exceeded.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Coordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Establish Work Methods: Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time.
  • Supervise Workers and Projects: Supervise workers and projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train and Develop: Train or arrange for training to ensure that workers have the necessary skills to complete projects.
  • Manage Resources: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Lead and Instruct: Lead and instruct individuals, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
