BERRY HOMES LTD is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets in residential settings. Your tasks will include measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall sheets, as well as applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish
  • Apply successive coats of compound to fill joints, nail indentations, and holes
  • Sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall installation projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications for drywall installation projects
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
