Job Overview

As a Food Service Worker Lead at Aramark, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation of food items, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist in the preparation of food items, including portioning meals and serving customers.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering menu items from preferred suppliers and maintaining accurate records.
  • Cash Handling and Banking: Handle cash transactions, process debit payments, and perform daily banking duties.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures, and complete daily temperature logs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and advise employees working on the line to ensure timely and effective service of customers.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Be prepared to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, and be flexible in your work assignments.
Requirements
  • Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills: Demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to effectively interact with customers, employees, and management.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records, follow detailed instructions, and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods, and be willing to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
