Job Title: Rodman/Woman - Land Surveying

NEW MAPLE GEOMATICS INC. is seeking a skilled Rodman/Woman to join our team in land surveying. As a key member of our surveying crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the collection and analysis of geospatial data.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup and operation of surveying equipment, including total stations and GPS devices.
  • Collect and record data in the field, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with other surveyors and technicians to complete surveying projects.
  • Perform tasks such as moving equipment, holding stakes, and cleaning work areas.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of surveying equipment.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various locations and weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: outdoors.
  • Work setting: various locations.
Tools and Equipment:
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Hard hat.
  • Gloves.
  • Safety glasses/goggles.
  • Rain gear.
Experience:
  • Will train.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language required.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
