Job Description
As a Cloud Software System Architect at OwnersBox, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform's architecture. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and implementing improvements in system monitoring, alerting, performance, and reliability.
Architecture Evolution
You will plan and execute architectural changes to support new features, increased scale, and evolving business requirements. By championing architectural best practices, coding standards, and design patterns across the development team, you will ensure the continued growth and success of our platform.
Collaboration
Working closely with development teams, product management, and stakeholders, you will align architectural decisions with business goals. Your strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively will be essential in driving project success.
Technology Evaluation
You will research and evaluate new technologies and architectural patterns to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge. This involves staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, ensuring we remain competitive in the market.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in a software development role
- A strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Experience with front-end web technologies like Vue.js and mobile development with React Native
- A strong general sports knowledge, especially the major North American sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL)
