Job Title: Clinical Nurse Mentorship Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Mentorship Specialist to join our team at Island Health. As a Clinical Nurse Mentorship Specialist, you will provide clinical mentorship and practice support to nursing staff, utilizing your experience and clinical skills to function as a clinical resource and champion in the delivery of excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical mentorship and practice support to nursing staff
  • Function as a clinical resource and champion in the delivery of excellent client care
  • Work in conjunction with nurse educators to provide rapid elbow-to-elbow clinical mentorship and practice support
  • Utilize experience and clinical skills to provide clinical instruction and support staff training and development

Requirements:

  • Three years of recent, related nursing experience in the designated clinical practice area(s)
  • Experience mentoring nursing staff and leadership training
  • Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle may be required
