About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Expert to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our Financial Services practice, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate complex risk management challenges and achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end client engagements on Operational Risk Management (ORM), Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Operational Resiliency (Ops Res)
  • Develop and implement ORM, Ops Res, and TPRM operating models, including risk strategy, risk appetite, regulatory reporting, governance, policies, assessment, due diligence, continuous monitoring, and technology
  • Collaborate with other service lines to support risk transformation opportunities specific to Operational Risk and Third Party Risk
  • Mentor and drive quality of work prepared by team members in managing project timeline, quality, budget, and client relationship
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 7-12 years of experience in ORM, Ops Res, and TPRM in Financial Services
  • Risk management, assurance, or professional designation (such as CA, MBA, CFA)
  • Strong current knowledge of the Canadian regulatory landscape (OSFI B10 and E21) and leading practices in Risk Management
  • Able to lead cross-functional teams comprised of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
