Early Psychosis Intervention Psychiatrist Opportunity in Coastal Region

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced adult psychiatrist to join our Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) program based at the Hope Centre. As an EPI psychiatrist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and treatment to individuals experiencing early psychosis.
The ideal candidate will have expertise or interest in working with young adults aged 13-30 who are experiencing early and first episode psychosis. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing specialized treatment to clients across the Coastal Community of Care.
Reporting to the Medical Leader of the Coastal EPI Program, you will participate in evidence-based treatment interventions, training and education of medical students, residents, and other allied health professionals. Opportunities for planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programs, as well as research projects and group work, may also exist.
About the PositionThis is a full-time position with a blended billing model (Sessional and Fee-for-service). The successful candidate will provide a minimum of 2-4 half-days of work per week.
As per Ministry of Health policy, all healthcare workers working in publicly-funded healthcare facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections.
