Psychiatrist for Mental Health Emergency Service

This exciting opportunity is available for a Psychiatrist to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health, providing expert care for individuals experiencing mental health crises and their families.
As a member of our interdisciplinary mental health team, you will work collaboratively with nurses, police officers, and other healthcare professionals to provide patient-focused care, utilizing evidence-based practices and advocating for harm reduction approaches.
The successful candidate will have experience working with concurrent disorders and the general psychiatric disorders population, as well as expertise in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. A strong commitment to education, research, and quality improvement is essential.
