Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our team in Vancouver, Canada. In this role, you will perform various nursing functions associated with interventional radiology, computed tomography, and other medical imaging procedures. You will also assist physicians during procedures and provide direct nursing care to ensure the comfort and safety of patients undergoing procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing functions associated with interventional radiology, computed tomography, and other medical imaging procedures.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and provide direct nursing care as appropriate.
  • Enhance quality of life from the perspective of the patient/family.
  • Prepare for and respond to fluctuating workloads, unexpected critical situations, and the requirement to be on-call as required.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or two years recent, related experience in an interventional radiology or critical care setting.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family-centered model of care.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of BCCNM standards for nursing practice.
  • Demonstrated ability in the initiation and management of IV therapy and administration of IV medications.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42/Hr. - CAD $55.91/Hr. Benefits include comprehensive health benefits, pension plan, and employer-paid training opportunities.

This is a regular full-time position with 37.50 standard hours per week. The job category is Nursing, and the position type is Baseline.
