Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a member of our Neuro Angiography team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Develop and implement care plans that address patient needs, including medication management and wound care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing functions associated with interventional radiology, computed tomography, and other medical imaging procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures, providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing procedures.
- Enhance the quality of life for patients and families by promoting health and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or two years of recent, related experience in an interventional radiology or critical care setting.
