Senior Estimator

We're a community of builders committed to building better communities. Our Estimating team is at the forefront of this mission, leading large estimates that change the landscape of a community while mentoring and developing junior estimators.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications for large projects to determine overall project requirements.
- Establish a critical path schedule to meet contract completion dates for large projects.
- Lead pricing for general expense and project-specific general requirements for medium to large projects.
- Document all information relating to the estimate and archive it for future reference.
- Conduct risk and opportunity analysis for review by the chief estimator.
- Liaise with external consultants and project management organizations to estimate project budget requirements.
- Monitor client project-specific success criteria and hold the team accountable for meeting them.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or trade experience.
- Knowledge of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, sequencing, potential problems, and timelines.
- Extensive knowledge of bid preparation, including quantity take-off procedures, trade contractor procurement, pricing, and bid closing procedures.
- Expert understanding of contract terms for various delivery models and ability to identify contract risks and opportunities.
- Understanding of different bid processes and contract delivery type methods.
