Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

League, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our compensation and benefits programs meet the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to drive business success.
  • Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment.
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure fairness and equity.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to inform compensation decisions.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.
