Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Elca Holdings Ltd. as a key member of our food service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Staff Management
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that all employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standard.
    • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
    • Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that all staff are properly allocated and utilized.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
