Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sewak's Independent. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You will also be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

32 hours per week.
