Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 35 hours per week.
