About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to join our team at NTT DATA Services. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth release and maintenance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate the release and maintenance of applications, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to define and promote release and maintenance processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain build deployment and maintenance schedules for test environments, ensuring seamless integration with production.
  • Anticipate and identify potential issues, recommending solutions and working with management to implement them.
  • Track key milestones and monitor the status, health, and risks of releases and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate the quality of release and maintenance activities, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of release management experience, with a strong background in IT application development.
  • 4+ years of experience in an IT environment, with a focus on application release and maintenance.
  • 2+ years of leading projects of large complex operational systems, with a strong track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in change management and process development, with a focus on IT.
Desired Skills
  • Good knowledge of software development lifecycles, including waterfall and agile.
  • Good knowledge of release and support management, including application release and infrastructure maintenance practices.
  • Good knowledge of quality metrics and tracking, with experience in Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, ServiceNow.
  • Experience in leading application release and infrastructure maintenance process improvements, such as deployment automation.
