Exciting Opportunity at Interior Health Authority

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Services Assistant to join our team at the Castlegar Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide reception and administrative support to healthcare professionals
  • Perform data entry, including gathering, organizing, and verifying information
  • Prepare presentations, arrange meetings, and transcribe minutes
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments, and receive, record, and check balances of cash transactions
  • Maintain and clean medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material
  • Weigh and measure babies, calibrate equipment, and perform vision screenings
Requirements:
  • A current supervised 5-minute Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within the past 24 months from a recognized institution
  • A Medical Office Assistant Certificate
  • A current valid BC Driver's License
  • Your Resume
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position
