Job Opportunity: Administrative Services Assistant

Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Administrative Services Assistant to join their team at Castlegar Health Centre. This is a casual opportunity, which means there are no guaranteed hours, and work requirements can vary from week to week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of reception, administrative, and Health Unit Aide support duties, including data entry, preparing presentations, and scheduling appointments.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with medical and surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material.
Requirements:
  • A current supervised 5-minute typing test with a speed of 40 wpm or greater, completed within the past 24 months from a recognized institution.
  • A Medical Office Assistant Certificate.
  • A current valid BC Driver's License.
  • A resume and a cover letter stating availability to start in a new position.
