Mackenzie Health is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the implementation and transformation of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for HR. As the HR Lead, you will play a critical role in streamlining HR operations and implementing best practices to optimize the HR system.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance on the implementation of the HR functionality of the new ERP system.
- Streamline HR operations and implement best practices to optimize the HR system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the ERP system.
- Develop and implement short and long-term technology plans to deliver the department's business goals and objectives.
- Develop HR business cases for new technology solutions.
- Provide ongoing process and system support and guidance to the HR department and system users post-implementation.
- Monitor and interpret trends and best practices specific to HR and advise the Director, ERP Planning & Implementation on future development opportunities.
- Post-secondary degree in a Human Resources, Information Technology Management, Computer Science or Business Program or related combination of education & experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience with translating HR business requirements into project requirements preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing HR applications and enabling technology.
- In-depth knowledge across a wide spectrum of HR processes, principles, compliance requirements and best practices.
- Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills, including above average writing & presentation skills, for working with individuals and teams at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives in a dynamic organizational environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Strong computer and technology skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Proven attendance record.
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others.

- Previous leadership roles are preferred.
- Project management, release management, process design, configuration, and testing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proven ability and experience in business process documents and training end-users on new processes.
- Certification in change management preferred.
- Project Management Certification is preferred.
