Human Resources Manager

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join their corporate head office in Etobicoke. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead HR initiatives and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic HR plans to support business objectives
  • Partner with management to create and implement employee development programs
  • Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring alignment with staffing needs and company goals
  • Design and implement training and organizational development initiatives to strengthen staff and leadership performance
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, health and safety, and insurance regulations
  • Coach managers in employment-related issues, including human resource planning, performance management, and discipline
  • Drive HR initiatives and projects to improve efficiency, employee engagement, and business performance
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field
  • Proven experience as an HR manager in an industrial environment
  • Demonstrated change management capabilities and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with management and employees
  • In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This position reports to the VP Human Resources.
