About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to join our senior corporate leadership team. As a strategic business partner, you will be responsible for building a skilled and motivated workforce that drives the organizational success of our multiple hotel locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the company's human resource needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Direct and oversee hotel recruitment and hiring activities and strategies for various positions.
  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate training programs, including management/supervisory development, anti-harassment, and anti-discrimination training.
  • Maintain human resources information systems to provide accurate employee records.
  • Oversee and investigate employee relations and labor-related matters, including union matters.
  • Motivate, lead, and inspire hotel teams to achieve positive outcomes in employee satisfaction.
  • Develop, communicate, and enforce company policies, priorities, procedures, and administrative standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years human resource experience in a unionized environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations in the US and Canada.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with at least 3 years in a similar role covering both the US and Canada.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
