We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Edmonton. As a Geotechnical Engineer at Tetra Tech, you will work on challenging civil and geotechnical engineering projects throughout Alberta, from conceptual design to construction reporting.

With a strong background in geotechnical engineering and foundation design, you will develop sound technical solutions, design and manage geotechnical projects, conduct site visits for assessments, and analyze data to prepare reports and recommendations.

You will have the opportunity to work with world-class engineers and scientists, participate in design of civil earthwork structures, linear infrastructure, and industrial buildings/structures, and lead or assist with completion of geohazard assessments.

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Relevant seismic or soft ground engineering experience is preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Travel will be required throughout Western Canada, and candidates must be prepared to undertake field assignments lasting up to three to four weeks at a time.
