Senior Geotechnical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team at Thurber Engineering Ltd. As a leader in geotechnical engineering, we deliver specialist advice and services where projects meet the ground.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced geotechnical professional to lead our project management team. You will work on varied projects, developing your skills with guidance and mentorship from our senior team.
- Lead geotechnical investigation and design assignments, including responsibility for schedule, quality, safety, and cost control;
- Coordinate and carry out surface and subsurface site investigations, including borehole logging, sampling of soil and rock, and geological mapping;
- Coordinate and carry out field inspection of construction works and material testing of geotechnical materials;
- Conducting geotechnical analysis and preparing reports;
- Training and mentoring more junior staff;
- Providing construction stage support to clients and contractors;
- Preparing technical and cost proposals;
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your expertise in geotechnical engineering and project management will be invaluable in driving business growth and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
