At Christie/Cummings, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and perform other accounting tasks as required.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other relevant computer applications.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
