Software Development Team Lead

At Lightspeed, we're seeking a skilled Software Development Team Lead to join our Ecwid (E-Series) team in North America. As a key member of our product development team, you'll play a crucial role in leading the development of software solutions that empower merchants to thrive in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 4-5 developers, guiding and motivating them to solve complex business problems.
  • Enhance team growth through effective mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback.
  • Model lead-by-example excellence, providing high-quality code reviews and design feedback.
  • Develop performant, scalable, and maintainable applications and microservices.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams, architects, product managers, and engineering leaders.
  • Continuously improve software delivery processes and practices.
  • Provide technical and process guidance to your team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading a team of developers through successful software projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Golang, Spring Framework, and Postgress/NoSQL Databases.
  • Familiarity with programming patterns and microservices architecture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Russian languages.
