Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide assessment and care to patients with erectile dysfunction. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with shockwave therapy services and receive training on equipment usage.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, screening, prescribing, and providing therapeutic care as necessary
  • Uphold exceptional clinical customer service through prompt and empathetic care
  • Provide clinical care for patients with erectile dysfunction, including shockwave therapy
Requirements
  • Current certificate of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba as a nurse practitioner in good standing
  • Master of Science (Nursing) or a Masters in a relevant discipline is preferred
  • Ability to conduct clients' interviews and examinations, develop and implement client-centered treatment plans, while integrating evidence-based health promotion practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to function within a collaborative practice model
  • Effective leadership capabilities, including but not exclusive to teaching, mentoring, and supporting shared care models
  • Additional professional liability coverage is required; additional relevant professional memberships are an asset
  • Experience/confidence in working independently, with high degree of self-direction and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) including conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to use information technology (e.g. Microsoft Office and electronic medical records)
  • Basic Life Support certification is required
