At DOF Subsea, we're seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused individual to join our team as a Surveyor. As a key member of our offshore construction support, survey, and IRM contractor team, you'll collaborate with offshore and onshore personnel to deliver integrated solutions.

About the Role

We're looking for a Surveyor to support our ongoing long-term multi-year international and local projects. As a Surveyor, you'll be responsible for operating all survey-related equipment on the vessel, collecting and recording survey data, and maintaining order and tidiness in the survey area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain survey-related equipment, including data collection and recording.
  • Support the coordination of activities with the vessel and/or ROV crew.
  • Prepare and maintain survey logs and documentation.
  • Ensure equipment is adequately secured and sea-fastened.
  • Monitor real-time displays and examine calibration, data plots, and charts/maps.
  • Support the mobilisation/demobilisation of the survey vessel.
  • Report and follow up on deficiencies, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or incidents.
  • Provide key data and information to the Senior Surveyor/Party Chief for survey reports.

Requirements

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Hydrographic Survey or Geomatics degree or similar education.
  • At least 2– 5 years experience as Surveyor within Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
