Job Title: Senior Surveyor

DOF Subsea is a world-class offshore construction support, survey, and IRM contractor. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team.

Job Summary

The Senior Surveyor will be responsible for supervising, checking, and testing of survey equipment and software prior to project mobilization. They will also coordinate the mobilization of survey equipment and software on vessels, ensuring that all data is collected in accordance with 'good survey practice' and approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate survey operations, ensuring that all data is collected accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement project procedures, ensuring that all survey equipment is calibrated and that relevant documentation is kept up to date.
  • Manage project work scope, adhering to contractual aspects of the project offshore.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to the Offshore survey team, ensuring that all personnel meet company requirements for operational capability, competence, health, and safety.
  • Communicate daily with the Party Chief and liaise with client representatives and senior vessel/ROV crew.
  • Accountable for delegation of responsibility in accordance with company procedures, when appropriate.
  • Responsible for Offshore QHSE and implementing and maintaining survey standards throughout offshore operations.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Hydrographic Survey or Geomatics degree or similar education.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Surveyor, with key experience in acting Senior Surveyor or Senior Surveyor duties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with excellent communication, reading, and writing skills.
