Senior Surveyor

DOF Subsea is a world-class offshore construction support, survey, and IRM contractor.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for supervising the checking and testing of survey equipment and software prior to project mobilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the mobilization of survey equipment and software on vessels.
• Ensuring that all survey equipment in use has been calibrated and that the relevant calibration procedures are complied with.
• Ensuring that the collection of data is in accordance with 'good survey practice' and approved procedures and instructions.
• Management of project work scope and adhering to the contractual aspects of the project offshore.
• Providing guidance and supervising the Offshore survey team.
• Ensuring all personnel meet the company requirements for operational capability, competence, health, and safety.
• Liaising with client representatives and senior vessel/ROV crew.
• Accountable for delegation of responsibility in accordance with company procedures, when appropriate.
• Must complete daily/end of project reporting.
• Responsible for Offshore QHSE.
• Implement and maintain survey standards throughout offshore operations.

Requirements:

• Post Secondary Education in Hydrographic Survey or Geomatics degree or similar education.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Surveyor.
• Key experience in acting Senior Surveyor or Senior Surveyor duties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent communicator, reader, and writer.
