Landscape Maintenance Labourer

Calgary, Alberta, Canada Adept Landscape & Construction Inc. Full time

Adept Landscape & Construction Inc. is seeking a Labourer for its landscape maintenance team. The Labourer will assist with landscape constructions, tie and secure plants, and perform various tasks related to lawn care and garden maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage and ensure proper growth
  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and tidy
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers and trimmers
Work Environment
  • The Labourer will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including wet, damp, hot and dusty environments
  • The Labourer will be required to work at heights and in tight spaces, and may be exposed to odours and noise
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma is required for this position
  • The Labourer must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • The Labourer must have good hand-eye co-ordination and be able to work in a team environment
