Lorraine Landscape Services Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join our team at Lorraine Landscape Services. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage.

Work Environment

As a Labourer, you will be working outdoors in various locations, including parks and recreation sites, commercial areas, and residential properties. You will be exposed to wet/damp conditions, noise, dust, and heat.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and rake and collect refuse.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
  • Cut grass.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads and working in various weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
