Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Description
This part-time professor will deliver virtual workshops related to professional development, featuring guest speakers on special topics. Students will work in teams to complete hands-on and online learning modules, focusing on technical skills, soft skills, and professional networks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of electrical engineering course subject matter, demonstrated by relevant publications or experience.
- Significant experience mentoring technical people with advanced degrees to success in their careers.
- A doctorate relevant to electrical engineering and professional experience in the field after the doctorate.
Benefits
This contract includes payment for 52 hours, reflecting the requirement for the professor to attend tutorials at least one hour per week. The teaching method will be delivered virtually.

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as equivalent to the educational requirements and/or demonstrated experience.
