Senior Research Professor in Fluid Dynamics

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our faculty as a Senior Research Professor in Fluid Dynamics. This is a tenure-track position that requires a Ph.D. or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.

The successful candidate will have a strong research track record with output in high-quality academic journals and a solid teaching background. They will be expected to develop and lead an active, nationally and internationally recognized research program, attract external funding, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty members, and participate in educational and professional activities.

As a senior researcher, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions in experimental fluid mechanics, applying your expertise in areas such as aerospace, power generation, transportation, environmental, and biomedical sectors. Your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English or French will be essential, given the University of Ottawa's bilingual environment.
