Computer Engineering Professor Position at University of Ottawa

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering to join the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Ottawa. This tenure-track position is ideal for an exceptional individual with research and teaching expertise in real-time systems, embedded systems, and/or computer architectures.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and lead an active nationally and internationally recognized research program, attract external research funding, supervise graduate students, collaborate with other faculty members, and participate in educational and professional activities.
As a member of the EECS School, you will have opportunities to work with talented researchers and students on cutting-edge projects, and contribute to the strategic areas of the Faculty of Engineering, such as health care and augmented life, and technologies for the digital transformation of society.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, the University of Ottawa provides a comprehensive benefits package, including long-term disability leave, basic group life insurance, supplementary health insurance, a pension plan, and optional life insurance.
The ideal candidate has evidence of research excellence in Computer Engineering and will complement the existing expertise at the School. Preference will be given to bilingual (French/English) candidates who can teach in both languages. Passive knowledge of the other official language in Canada is a requirement for tenure.
