Drive Sustainable Growth in the Ontario Environment Market

As the Regional Market Leader - Environmental Sustainability, you will be responsible for leading the Ontario Environment Market to achieve sustainable growth. This involves developing and executing a strategic vision for the market, collaborating with partners across Canada and the enterprise, and driving the performance, vision, and growth of the environment market across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Environment Market across Ontario, aligning with GHD's overall strategy and vision.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the environment market, technical services, and operations to execute and deliver projects, and drive business growth.
  • Develop and adopt best practices, systems, processes, and tools to improve and transform the environment business, ensuring it remains competitive and sustainable.
  • Position GHD strategically in the market through differentiated value propositions, thought leadership, and brand elevation, highlighting the company's expertise and capabilities.
  • Lead the development of strategic offerings and proposals to support growth and diversification of the environment market, ensuring they meet client needs and expectations.
  • Prioritize clients and industry sectors aligned with GHD's strategy, vision, and core values, focusing on high-growth areas and opportunities.
  • Support the recruiting, retention, and development of talent across the environment market in Ontario, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality projects.

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer, Professional Geoscientist, Professional Biologist, Environmental Planner, or related disciplines, with a strong understanding of the Ontario Environment Market and its challenges.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience leading an environmental business, with a proven track record of driving market growth and developing successful strategies.
  • Experience with corporate strategic planning initiatives, with a demonstrated ability to develop and operationalize successful strategies that drive business growth.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the overall Environmental Market in Ontario and across Canada, with a strong network of contacts and relationships.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high-quality results.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial skills, including exceptional client experience skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Agile self-starter with a proactive, strategic, and creative approach, able to adapt to changing market conditions and priorities.
