Customer Service Representative

At Tom Burnside - Desjardins Insurance Agent, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to client inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work closely with our insurance agents to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products and services to clients.
Requirements:
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Property and Casualty license (OTL license preferred/must be able to obtain).
