About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage and oversee the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasting and financial reporting
  • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial objectives
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, investors, and regulatory bodies
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business units, including financial analysis and modeling
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve financial performance
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management
Requirements
  • CPA designation or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution company
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of financial professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business trends and develop effective financial strategies
