Job Title: Field Mechanic, Heavy Equipment

We are seeking a skilled Field Mechanic, Heavy Equipment to join our team at Carol Lake Metal Works Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment, and adjusting equipment to repair or replace defective parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment to repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Willing to relocate
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Overtime required
