Client Service Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust Officer to join our Scotia Wealth Management team. As a Trust Officer, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and support to our high net worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and personalized client service to high net worth clients and beneficiaries, ensuring timely and accurate account administration and technical expertise.
- Build and maintain effective internal and external partnerships to provide seamless solutions across various financial services disciplines.
- Contribute to the branch's profitability by assisting with accurate forecasting and the timely collection of fees.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish a strong presence with retail branches to identify and close fee opportunities.
- Develop acquisition strategies and maintain a robust prospect pipeline to generate sustainable and profitable growth.
- Limit corporate risk exposure by ensuring account administration is carried out in compliance with defined policies and procedures.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of legislative, administrative, and economic issues impacting account management and communicate effectively with clients and their advisors.
Requirements
- Professional and/or industry accreditation, in addition to a university degree.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of directly-related experience.
- Proven success in high net worth client relationship management.
- Membership or commitment to participate in CSI and/or STEP.
- Proven ability to deliver a proactive best-in-class client experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and negotiation skills, as well as professionalism.
- Strong change management skills and ability to adopt technology and reporting platform changes.
- Effective at building and maintaining deep relationships and partnerships.
- Proven ability to execute against financial and business development targets and profitability measures.
