Role Responsibilities

This position as a Patient Care Assistant involves providing support for the assigned team in their daily activities. This includes providing administrative support services, processing new referrals and orders, managing patient records, entering and updating patient data, answering telephone inquiries, and providing back-up support to other positions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and possess advanced multi-tasking skills.

Key Requirements

  • A Grade 12 diploma (minimum)
  • 2 or more years' related office experience
  • Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills
  • Proficient with database software, MS Word, Excel, and other applications in a Windows environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Advanced multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals
