Cloud Accounting Manager with Strong Leadership Skills

As a Cloud Accounting Manager at MNP, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cloud accounting operations. This includes overseeing the full cycle cloud accounting engagements, performing setup of client files, completion of budgets, and administrative planning.

About the Role

This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing a team of cloud accounting bookkeepers. You will oversee the reconciliation of GL accounts, including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, intercompany, and point of sale (POS)/system uploads.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all cloud accounting operations, including full cycle cloud accounting engagements, client file setup, budget completion, and administrative planning
  • Oversee the reconciliation of GL accounts, including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, intercompany, and point of sale (POS)/system uploads
  • Manage a team of cloud accounting bookkeepers, including workload allocation and ensuring efficient and effective procedures are carried out
  • Network and take a leadership role in the local professional and business community, increasing awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
  • Accountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (i.e., budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)

Requirements

  • Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset
  • Certificate in QuickBooks Online Advanced and Xero is an asset
  • 4-6 years of accounting and bookkeeping related experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes
  • Experience working with cloud-based software is preferred
  • Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
