As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our employees, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and driving business results through effective HR practices.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment-related legal legislation and ensure compliance with government reporting requirements.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientations to foster a positive attitude toward company goals and an effective hand-off to operations.
  • Prepare and process payroll using ADP, while adhering to established pay cycles and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate employee-related records, including new hires, changes in salary, promotions, leaves, and terminations, on internal HRIS and benefits portal.
  • Facilitate and document employee engagement meetings.
  • Respond to employee inquiries of moderate complexity regarding policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Manage non-exempt recruiting activities and exempt recruiting through first-level supervisory roles, including organizing and executing job fairs.
  • Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate resolution.
  • Manage leave of absence process, unemployment claims, and hearings.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
