Program Director for Comprehensive Wellness

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Program for Active Living (PAL) at Schlegel Villages in Guelph, Ontario. As the Director of this program, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive operational policies and programs that promote resident health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to the PAL team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including the LHIN and vendor partners.
- Coordinate OT/PT services, vendor relations for application resident equipment, and external service providers for additional therapy/exercise programs.
- Participate in Village interdisciplinary team meetings and committees, collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on psychomotor behavior and exercise rehabilitation, as well as membership in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
You will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support your team. Your experience working in a Long-Term Care setting is an asset, and current Heart Save Level of CPR certification is required.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately $75,000-$90,000 per year, commensurate with your experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a supportive work environment that values teamwork and collaboration.
