Executive Counsel for North America and Companion Animal

We are seeking an experienced Executive Counsel to join our team at the SHV Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract, competition, and corporate law, with experience in managing legal risks and developing E&C programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our North America and Companion Animal business units, providing legal advice and support to help drive business growth and success. As Executive Counsel, you will report directly to the Director Legal and M&A and the Director E&C, and participate in the management team of the Managing Director of the business unit North America.
About the Role:
- Manage legal risks and develop E&C programs for the North America and Companion Animal business units
- Provide legal advice and support to drive business growth and success
- Report directly to the Director Legal and M&A and the Director E&C
- Participate in the management team of the Managing Director of the business unit North America
Requirements:
- Law degree from a reputable institution
- Canadian licensed lawyer or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in an international business environment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an asset
- Knowledge of contract, competition, and (basic) corporate law; knowledge of food law is an asset
