About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting the required standards.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Lead by Example: Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to customer service, food quality, and team member development.
  • Manage Schedules and Budgets: Manage work schedules, including creating and managing schedules, and prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our means.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, as well as perform other physical demands associated with the role.
