We are seeking a highly skilled Water Meter Installation Specialist to join our team at EMCO Corporation in Barrie, Ontario. This is a contract position, and the ideal candidate will have their own HST number.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing water meters at various job sites throughout Southern Ontario. This role requires strong customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have your own vehicle (reliable and insured)
  • Water Meter Installer license preferred but willing to train right applicant
  • Soldering and plumbing experience preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer communication skills
Work Conditions

This position involves working outdoors in all types of climates, including inclement weather. The successful candidate must be willing to wear employer uniforms while on duty and enter customers' homes with proper Covid-19 PPE.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
