Master Craftsman

We are seeking an experienced Master Craftsman to join our team at Joamat Inc as a Woodworking Specialist. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and installation of wood structures and other materials.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for woodworking. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Prepare layouts and designs for wood structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood and other materials to create high-quality finished products.
• Fitness and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware in various settings.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
• Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to achieve project goals.
• Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accurate budgets and timelines.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, using your expertise to deliver exceptional results.

• 3-4 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Able to work at heights, in noisy environments, and with dust and other hazards.
• Valid safety certifications and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
