Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Counter Attendant at Tasty Bites involves providing exceptional service to customers while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Setting: Arrange clean dishes, utensils, and other items in serving areas.
  • Sanitation: Ensure cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and surfaces, including dishwasher mats and waste disposal units.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers, taking their orders and serving food at counters or buffet setups.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items as required.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of food quantities used and replenish condiments and supplies as needed.
  • Cleaning Duties: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping and mopping.
  • Storage: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in appropriate storage areas.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
